Andrew JahodaIASSIDD 2019 Co-Chair, University of Glasgow

    Andrew is Professor of Learning Disabilities at the University of Glasgow and an Honorary Clinical Psychologist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Andrew carries out research about the mental health and wellbeing of people with intellectual disabilities. This includes work about adapting psychosocial interventions, to make them more accessible to people with intellectual disabilities and sensitive to their lived experience.  He is also concerned with the impact of stigma and social exclusion on people with learning disabilities, and investigating ways of trying to tackle prejudice.
