Anna is Professor of Learning Disabilities at the University of Glasgow, and Honorary Psychiatrist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. She is Director of the Scottish Learning Disabilities Observatory, focused on raising awareness and providing evidence-based solutions to the health inequalities people with intellectual disabilities experience, assessing health trends, and translating evidence into useful intelligence for policy development, practitioners, service commissioners, and people with intellectual disabilities and carers.
